Re: Hindhead Ride starting at Rykas inbetweeners/intermediate Saturday 2nd Sept RUN FULL

Apologies, forgot to give anyone my run fee  and I won't be at the next Ripley meeting unfortunately (or conveniently, maybe!)

'fessing up here so it's not forgotten :?

shoulder blade muscles

Not sure if there is such a thing, but after Saturdays ride out I noticed the muscles in my back between my shoulders were nicely sore. At times it felt like i was hanging on to the bars and maybe i was putting too much force through my arms, although they feel ok. Just wondered if it was riding pos...

Re: Hindhead Ride starting at Rykas inbetweeners/intermediate Saturday 2nd Sept RUN FULL

Yeah, many thanks to Derek and Steve, John, Stuart, Gary and Guy for putting up with me and waiting while I picked myself up - and again! Most amazing trails and huge experience but I'll probably bust myself down to a Beginners for my next outing! Wow, yeah, agreed, Gibbets hill at Hindhead was a mo...

If you need another name for Normandy, Ash, Pirbright, please add me. I ride near there everyday on my way to work,

Re: Newbie From Fleet

Hi,

Not been very active until recently and just saw this.

I work in Camberley and have popped over to Odiham after work a couple of times to investigate the trails to the west.

Maybe we could hook up one evening before they start to draw in?

Cheers

Re: Hi from Godalming

Hi, I'm not far away in Guildford. I've done most of the trails east of you, as far as Dorking. This link is quite handy... http://Www.bywaymap.com There's a more definitive map on the SURREY county council web site - surrey interactive map. It's a bit clunky. Bing maps have an OS option, which you ...

Re: Tyres for 990 Adventure

I don't have a big adventure bike but if i did i would try either continental tkc 80s, or cheaper Mitas E10/E09.

Is it just tarmac riding to get to/from byways?

Re: Green laning tyres

I'm a relative newbie, having only had a little experience over the last year. I've got a Yamaha ttr 250 that has Bridgestone trailwing 301/302 fitted, and tbh they've been fine for my level of experience. As i tend to do a fair amount of tarmac en route to any BOATs they seem capable enough and hav...

westers lane, south warnborough route no 10

Wanted to join this boat from the beginning but appears to be closed at its north end, just south of South Warnborough on the B3349. Had a look at HCCs RoW site and no closure that i could see. Not a big deal; i joined from the byway a little further on. Interested to know if it's a valid block off,...
