Re: Saturday 3rd February 2018 - Beginner / newbie ride out - half day.

Brilliant! Its this type of feedback we look for. Its all about having a laugh, and it can seem daunting but it really isn't. :-) More to come, lighter evenings to come, warmer weather, dry conditions, no excuse to get out and ride. A little hint for those prospective ride leaders....as it gets warm...

Re: Saturday 3rd February 2018 - Beginner / newbie ride out - half day.

Another successful beginner / newbie ride out. Slightly more damp than I'd usually venture out in...infact I don't usual go out if its anything other than glorious sunshine. :-) Great bunch of folks turned out, thanks to Colin for leading the second group. All counted out and all counted back in as ...

Re: Saturday 3rd February 2018 - Beginner / newbie ride out - half day.

Hi,

I think we are all good thanks, two rides full.

Those on the list on page 1 shown as riding:

All meeting tomorrow morning at Rykas for 9:00am please. Admin, tea/coffee sorted, chocks away by 09:30am.

Fingers crossed for nice weather, I hate riding in the rain. :-)

Cheers

Re: Saturday 3rd February 2018 - Beginner / newbie ride out - half day.

List updated to show second group being led by Colin (19col58). Many thanks Colin for stepping forward, star man. Please review the list and confirm you're ok to ride still if you haven't done so all ready. This is a beginner ride, half day, gentle bimble, with coffee and cake or burger at Newlands ...

Re: Saturday 3rd February 2018 - Beginner / newbie ride out - half day.

Updated the list this evening.

Its full and there are likely enough riders for a second rider leader if I can find one or one volunteers??

Cheers

Re: Saturday 3rd February 2018 - Beginner / newbie ride out - half day.

Neil, Martin,

Added to the run list, thanks guys.

A thought...if you guys want to lead part of the ride so it could be an impromptu ride leader...taster we can do that?

No pressure, happy whichever way..blind leading the blind..especially if I'm at the front; a thought tis all.

Cheers

Re: Saturday 6th January - Beginner / newbie run - half day

Well that was fun. All turned up all rode out all rode back. A tad cold....actually bloody freezing but good fun and back home by 1pm. Excellent, thank you all for making my ride out as ride leader so easy. One lesson learnt for next time. If you have a rider peeling off make sure the back marker kn...
