Stewie,

I've got to work tomorrow morning. If I get done (and ain't too knackered) I might toddle out towards the Bowl and might bump into you.

Thanks guys,

Had a fantastic time, feeling sore this morning in my arms and shoulders.

Stewie rode at a suitable pace which he picked up during the day as I got faster. Gave me lots of very useful advice and took us on the routes that were bike appropriate.

Nice and easy ride out, in some cracking weather and with some cracking company :D from start to the finish point was just under 100 miles with a mix of terrain from sandy to chalk, it's very dry out there at the moment just 3 small water crossing on the route and 2 of them were fords and the last being a small stream. :D
I did feel like a complete fraud turning up the 525 but rather that than cancel the run, we started off on some really easy routes and increased the pace to suit nothing to serious, we did manage to get over the Frencham sands and on up to The Devil's Punchbowl cafe. :D
Big thanks to Tony for letting me have a quick blast on his Africa Twin ( 750cc V Honda ) and for a 220kg+ bike it handled really well and up on the pegs felt great, no problems pushing on and great feed back from the front. :D
A massive big-up to Alex for his first venture on to the byways on his GS800 shod with K60, no spills good pace :D
I will post another one as soon as I get my KLR up and running, :D
Some pic's of the day :D
