Looks like only 10 minutes is being allowed for each motion... so I there will be some argey bargey... but hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised and consensus will be reached on how the TRF is run. Please consider attending to have a say in how the TRF is run on your behalf.

Light refreshments, eg. tea and coffee etc will be provided by the TRF but attendees should bring their own lunch. This is to keep the overall costs of the meeting to a minimum..

The National Motorcycle Museum is recognised as the finest and largest British motorcycle museum in the world and originally opened its doors in October 1984 with a collection of 350 motorcycles on display. The Museum owes its formation to the drive and ambition of one man, Mr WR (Roy) Richards. Roy passed away in 2008 but his work continues under the guardianship of Roy’s Widow Christine & Son’s Simon and Nick with The Museum collection now boasting some 1000 plus machines, fully restored to the manufacturers original specifications.
Since opening, this magnificent centre has become the largest motorcycle museum in the world and attracts around 250,000 visitors a year. One of the biggest attractions for many guests is the comprehensive cross-section of British machines, spanning the “60 Glorious Year” of motorcycle manufacturing in this country. The museum’s aim is to preserve these pieces of history for future generations to come, as a reminder of this great nations industry, engineering prowess and work ethic.

I believe the Directors are producing a special version of TRAIL to set out all of the proposals, so watch out for that.

I'm sure there will be formal note soon.... but in the meantime here is an 'unofficial' report!

All the Directors' motions passed including the articles... which hopefully puts the constitutional headache behind us.

All the Directors standing were voted in... with one dropping away (Charlie Morris) and another stepping up (Steve Neville, Kent TRF) so we now have 9 Directors.

All Andrew Brockenhurst and Mike Irving's motions were not successful (most required 75%); however there was a round of applause for the work Andrew put in, with much of the scrutiny and work he put in having contributed to refining what was presented.

The new Bye Laws were adopted with a new prefix "temporary" and a commitment that there will be further work and consultation on them.

Overall I thought the day was a triumph. There was considerable healthy challenge. The considerable amount of work put in especially by John V on the constitutional stuff in particular means we are in a much stronger position moving forward. Proxy voting system worked very well. Vast majority of discussion was good humored and respectful.

My view was it was a triumph overall. We now have 9 Directors ready to focus their attention... on protecting green roads.
