I notice that one end has no signage just a hand written surrey council sign saying not suitable for all motor vehicles. The other end has a sign saying no motor vehicle except for access. There is also a development at the end and it looks like they have taken part of the byway...
Anyone know this lane?
Why does it say except for access I can't find any TRO's on this lane?

It looks (from is maps) like a ucr rather than a byway. Is it on the definitive list? Maybe planning has been granted?
Must admit that I (and a lot of the Surrey guys) never get out that way as it is a long way off the normal routes we use.
I'll enquire with our ROW peeps at the next club night.

I have on occasion started runs here (at the the White Bear end of Featherbed Lane) and headed toward Kent.
I didn't know of this lane.
Looks like its a UCR.
Looking at Google Streetview there appears to be a 'no motor vehicles/ except for access' is at both ends (at the north end, at the junction with Limpsfield Road).
