This E-mail has been sent via the TRF Database and contains important information for you as a member. Please read and respond as requested.

Sent on behalf of Mike Irving - TRF Comms Director - [email protected]

Dear Member and TRF Forum User

Not much time left to do this one as ......................................

Objections have to be in by the 3rd so this is a last shot at getting them out.

Thank you.

Mike

************* LAST CHANCE TO SAVE THIS LANE******************

In May of this year Suffolk CC put a experimental TRO on this lane, the initial 6 months of the 18 month eTRO is up on December 3rd (NEXT TUESDAY). Objections have to be made to Suffolk CC by December 3rd if they are to count and help persuade Suffolk CC that motorcycle must not be excluded from this lane.

As with all objections nothing particularly eloquent or detailed is required, just say:

"I object to the exclusion of motorcycles from using the UCR U5410 known as Dam or Dury Lane in the parish of Mellis, Suffolk by way of TRO".

You should write too or preferably email as its getting late for post to arrive in time:

[email protected]

Heather Miller

Senior Legal Officer

Suffolk Legal, Suffolk County Council,

Endeavour House, Russell Road, Ipswich, IP1 2BX

If you want to expand on your objections this thread on the forum give much of the background and details some very cleverly articulated arguments from TRF members who are skilled in the RoW law.

Finally if you have already objected and Suffolk CC have acknowledge it, there is no need to object again. But, thank you for having taken the time to write or email. If you haven't and think why bother? Well the local anti's / nimby are doing just as much as the TRF to raise support for banning bikes as we are to oppose it. In-Action will see this lane lost, PLEASE HELP!

Done yesterday @_@

I fail to grasp why generally pedestrians can complain and close vehicular routes when vehicles aren't complaining...
