Steve

Please can you advise which OS maps I should bring along to the meeting? I'm based on J3 M3 at Lightwater but am not sure how far across or down into Hampshire the STRF venture. I'm happy to start from the Dorking area but some lanes closer to me on the Surrey/Hants border would be great for an early evening ride.

Some feedback on SaTNav's would be great as well.

Cheers

Graham

Graham,

Just found out that the map man will not be at club night and I cannot make it either.. Hopefully someone else can attend with their maps or you may have to make alternative arrangements once most of us are back. or wait until the next meeting.

I have attached info sheet which tells you the maps that we use.

We ride down to the south downs and to the east of Basingstoke.

Hopefully Derek will be at club night and he uses sat navs and will be able to chat to you.

Cheers
Steve

Steve

I've resubmitted a request to get access to the club maps so hopefully I'll get sight of these sometime soon.

I will be attending the club night tonight with my glossy new OS maps. No problem if I leave with unmarked glossy maps. I'll catch up with the map man next time.

Regards

Graham

Went along to my first club night last night and just wanted to say thanks to the members who were there for all the friendly advice offered.

A big thank you to Derek for taking the time to go over the maps with us newbies and helping us mark them up.

A good night out that will become a regular fixture for me.

Cheers,
Murray.

Guys

Great first night for me. It''s always good to put faces to names and to hear tales of .

Thanks also go to Derek for the map marking and to Dave and Sean for marking up the Berkshire map for me. There seems to be more local lanes around the Wokingham area than I thought.

See you all in August.

Graham
