Hi all,
As per a post elsewhere requesting some beginner rides, I have been lurking on here for a while as I was first waiting to get a new bike and then putting some miles on it.
I live and work locally. Have owned bikes off and on for over 30 years (more off than on in the last 10). Getting back into biking since going on a trail riding weekend in Spain with my boss last year.
A local friend and I have signed up for the Taffy Dakar on the May Bank Holiday weekend, so looking forward to quite a bit of riding this year!!.
I joined the TRF online last night (got a confirmation email this afternoon), but still waiting for a member number. I did mention that Surrey was home turf.
Looking forward to meeting you all. Planning to attend tomorrow night's club night.
