Yes how does £30 for the entry sound? I think full entry price is £38.

Assuming it is good can you post his name please along with bike details and reg number?

The formalities were all done online and processed really quickly. If anyone is considering entering an LDT and is worried about the paperwork, then don't, it's easy to do.
All I have to do now is sharpen up my riding and navigation skills and make a roadbook holder out of an old ice cream carton, a couple of bamboo sticks, and some sticky backed plastic.

Tony is not jokin. It's literally taken five minutes. Jump on witley and sign up straight away. Use the code they give you and sign up to acu.
I delayed it thinking it would be more difficult with all the different categories

Witley100 is this Sunday.
Are there plans to meet up on the day or are we leaving it to chance?
I did hear that some regulars to the event have already teamed up, but what about the newbies like myself?

Peter.

Is that a request to join with some others?

If it is, you have access to the start list, so will know the names of riders. On the day there are around 180 bikes & riders in one field. All need to register, sort kit and get their bike to the start line. You'll probably see a few familiar faces in the paddock. Pop over and say hello.
A word of warning though - if you do ride as a group, keep numbers down to 2 or 3. Any larger and it slows everything down.

Enjoy!

Peter,

As Muddy says it will be busy on Sunday morning so I suggest you try and sort out a riding buddy beforehand. AFAIK Tony R is riding this event for the first time too, so why not try and team up with him?

Derek T and I are planning on riding around together, we will arriving around 07.30 and will be in a blue Vivaro van, come and say hello, if you can find us!

Gavin and Murray are also riding.

If you don't find a partner then join in with one of us.

Kev

Thanks all for the info, i'll watch out for you during my trek round the course.

If I don't see you on the day then maybe catch up at the club night to share the experience.

Cheers,
Peter.

Yeah I still haven't forgiven you and Muddy for your rubbish scoring, should be an age limit on observing or at least an eye test.

When Billy shouted "Five" Derek heard Fife and like any good Scotsman started to head off there.

If anyone's looking for a late entry to the Witley 100 my place is available.

I did my back in at work this week and can't get my leg over (nothing new) my bike never mind ride the trial.

You will need to have an ACU licence for trials to be able to ride.

Give me a call on 07 eight eight 6 0270six7 and I will try and arrange it with the organizers.

Murray.
