Swindonian Long Distance Trial Sunday 9th June

Postby GDAS » Fri Apr 19, 2013 12:14 am

Regs for the 2013 Swindonian LDT are now available at http://www.sdmcc.org.uk/

Although it doesn't generally feature much private land, the Swindonian is usually a great day''s riding, with lots of long lanes. Front tyre can be any road legal, rear must be trials pattern.

Entry fee is £22. You need to have an ACU Trials Licence - which means you need to be a member of an ACU affiliated motorcycle club.

I've been doing this event for many years, so please ask if you've got any questions.

well in that case you might be interested in the Moor-to-Sea LDT in Devon on Sunday July 7th. You'll need to keep your rear trials tyre on. 28 wonderful sections, most of which are on private land. Although it's a round of the ACU Trail Bike championship, it's more enduro bike friendly than most of the rounds, so as long as you choose the easy route you'll have enough steering lock.

Yep, all good events, as is the Ten Tors, keep your eyes peeled for the OK Supreme, usually run around September. That's a really good event, and named after a now defunct British brand of Motorcycle.
