Trials training

Postby smccormick » Thu Dec 28, 2017 5:44 pm

Dear all,

Trials training / coaching locally at Hookwood Trials Centre with Katie Nash.

Katie has released some dates for 2018 and these are first come first served basis so get in quick.

Basic deal is £20 per hour with a further £20 payable to Hookwoods Trial Centre.

"Next years dates as follows please be advise first come basis.

January 7th , 13th and 28th
February 3rd, 4th and 10th
March 24th and 25th

Katie Nash <[email protected]> "

If you are looking to take trail bike upto Hookwoods for a training session that has knobbly tyres ask Jim Connor first; usually very good about it but it is after all a trials centre and not an enduro track. :-)

Usually two hours of training will see you reduced to a tired gibbering wreck asking for a cuppa tea and a rest.

Any questions queries please shout.

Regards

Last October I did a couple of hours trials training with Katie which Steve arranged for me. Really enjoyable and I made real steps forward in the slow riding skills especially on a gradient or uneven surface. I got permission to ride on nobblies but we had to keep moving around to avoid excessive damage.
Highly recommended.

Hi all,

Some updated dates from Katie for trials training.

Have some slots available for

24th and 25th March

April
15th and 28th

May
13th, 19th and 20th

June
10th and 30th

For those recently out on the beginners/newbie ride we stopped at the Hookwoods trial centre. If you book some training/coaching with Katie you'll be doing the training at Hookwoods.

You can use your usual green lane bike for this training if you wish, the only caveat is to just check with Katie and to make sure Jim Connor knows you're coming and is ok with it.

Two hours training, one to one.....hard work....you bet it is! Improve your riding, give you more control, more confidence, almost certainly.

Cheers

Steven

Have just joined Hookwood and bought myself a 2011 Sherco ST2.5! :o

I'm booked in at Tricks in the Sticks next Wednesday (using their bike) and hope to find a date for some training with Katie too.

Looking forward to falling off a lot and making a fool of myself, even more than usual!
