any car dealers out there got a corporate HPi account to check for finance/cat d status etc etc

...need a second car (son and heir etc) .... so going into the 2nd hand car market

failing that .. anyone know of anything better than this ?

I use text check. Text the reg number to 83600 it costs about £3 you get a txt instantly confirming if ever written off or subject to hp. Also confirms make and vin number on file so you can check and verify it is the correct vehicle.

And it gives you an estimated valuation based on average mileage for that year of vehicle, number of former keepers, if the colour has ever been changed, if ever been stolen/recovered, scrapped or total loss.
