KTM 450 EXC chain and sprockets

Postby Mouseman » Mon Mar 09, 2015 11:01 am

Hi. Need a new chain and sprockets for my 450 EXC.
Any recommendations Re sprocket ratio..
Was thinking 14/52 twinring.
Chain type O or X ring or neither..
Also where to shop.
Cheers Mike

Motoward in Rudwick ( http://www.motoward.co.uk/ ) good shop, very help full, the gearing would depend on what you want the bike to do, I've got 14/50 on the 525, and after some quite shocking chains that I've purchased recently, the xring seem the one to go for IMHO. :D
Off the beaten track!.

It's for general green laning, too old for racing...

I've never had any issues with Renthal Chains and either Renthal or JT sprockets. I think the chain I use is an R3

BandCexpress hold good stock and give good service but I think the last one I got came off evilBay
