I have looked for this myself.

A quick google comes up with this place https://www.motorcycledentremoval.co.uk/

You post tank to them they repair and send back.

Thanks

Thanks- good info, thanks for your reply, Ron came up with the same suggestion too, but I am really looking for someone local who I can deliver to by hand, rather than a franchise operation. I have a good contact, but its in Sheffield, he has worked for me before with good results. if I do find someone, I will pass the info on, here. Its not exactly urgent, to be honest. All the best, bc

There’s a good guy on the Merrow trading estate just past the council depot on the right. I can’t remember his or the company’s name . I have used him a couple of times ,once on a Mercedes once on an Audi . He will come to you if you want or maybe will take your car back to his workshop . Does a very good job and not too expensive . Also opposite him is a tyre guy who will take your old tyres, I think he charges a couple of pounds per tyre instead of the fiver at the tip . Would recommend both these people.

Just re-reader this and thought it was for a car , don’t know if he does bike stuff but I would imagine it’s the same principle, might be worth an ask .

Wow is this the new “Helpful Steve”?

I’ve got some old tyres which I need to get rid of. So thank you for the tip

No expert but I think with car panels they need to get behind the dent then use “spoons “ and heat . I would imagine with tanks you would need heat and some way of “blowing “ the tank out , pretty much the same as blowing out a 2 stroke expansion pipe .

I pretty sure you won’t find anywhere that does this.

Let me know if you do I want a dent removed from my road bike but only place I could find was the one I said already. It’s not a big franchise operation? Pretty sure it’s a small business that spécialisés in that.
