If your thinking of a few days on the Salisbury Plains, you wouldn't go a lot wrong with the Cholderton YH http://www.choldertonyouthhostel.co.uk/ nice and welcoming and the first byway is just yards up the road
Just a few pics, the plains are well suited to larger trail bikes, with lots of variety
Just be aware that the ruts are made by tanks and some are pretty deep
Opps
Just one puncher, good use of the ugly stick
We did about 90 miles with not a lot of road work
A few little climbs
Last stop at Stonehenge before heading back for the Rugby

The youth hostel looks spot on. Would it be a good venue for Surrey TRF?

I'm far enough behind you to spot the bald patch!
You got your bike sorted yet? Or is there a delay with fitting the stabilisers?
