Yep, conditions not ideal for your first time on the Byways :pinch: but hay-ho off we went anyway :woohoo:
Meet up with Gary and Bob at Rykers and set off to sample some of the local lanes (thumbs)
I'll let Gary tell you about his experience, but hopefully without sounding to patronizing He did really well (thumbs)
It's that time of year where there's just a blanket of leaves and it's anyone's guess what lies beneath
All nice and clean at the cafe (thumbs) A 400, 500 and a 600cc bikes
First bit of deep'ish water  tractored straight through (thumbs)
That's better, looks the part now (thumbs)
Bob on his XT600 (thumbs) one of the best duel purpose bikes around IMHO
Thanks for the ride today folks, always great to get out, off to do a night shift now
If your local, get yourself over to Wolverns lane it's the best I've seen it for ages (thumbs)

Thanks Stu for a great ride on the lanes.
We didn't notice it was raining the lanes were wetter with more water coming up than down.
Great lunch at Newlands-thanks Gary for the lunch and entertainment!
