Big Bikes Sun 5 May

Postby Stewie » Sat Apr 27, 2019 12:23 pm

High all, heading out on the 990 for a day on the surrey lanes, distance and pace to suit the group, nothing to technical just nice n easy and I'll throw in a few tips about riding different terrain, sand, hill starts if anyone wants.
Meeting at Windy Gap car park ( Abinger Rd Dorking RH5 6LX https://goo.gl/maps/VGcERLUcfAKob5v4A ) at 0945 for a 1000hrs depart.
Thanks Stewie,

I would be up for that, I am very new to this so you will have to accept my beginner routes ... not used to road biking, just the off road.

Hi Stewie,

Please can I join you on this too, I have an XT660 Tenere which I commute on every day; that needs to get muddy.

I am looking for a few top tips off road too.

Many Thanks,
Chris.

Hi John, what are you riding? don't want to put you off, just to let you know although its an easy ride, not suitable for a newbie due to distance being covered, hope this helps.

Thanks Stewie.

I am on a CB500 x with a rally raid suspension kit. Is that ok? It big. Well bigger than a lot of things.

I am on a 2010 F800GS ... I am not a newbie on riding bikes, have been in them for a few years :-) distance is not an issue.
