First Saturday AM and PM runs, 5 October

Postby stevent » Tue Sep 17, 2019 8:23 pm

All

To coincide with our First Saturday meet, I will lead easy runs over the local Surrey lanes. Easy run, gentle pace, stops along the way, and suitable for beginners.

Morning run - Ryka’s Cafe 9:30 for 10:00 start. Finish at Newlands 12:45-1pm.

Afternoon run - Newlands Corner. 14:00/14:15 start. Finish at Rykas by 5pm.

You can sign up for morning or afternoon or both.

All the usual TRF stuff applies: only sign up if you are a definite, arrive with full tank of fuel, ride for yourself, £2 for club funds, breakdown recovery or means to fix your bike, GSOH etc etc.

Thanks

Hi Steven,

I will lead a second group for both AM & PM if you have a lot of riders.

If you do not get many riders, I will lead a ride on another day, probably the 12th.

Regards
Steve Sharp

Hi Steven
Met you at the club meeting tonight. I am a new member of the trf. I am keen to join the early morning from Rykas please. I am new to off road riding, so an easy slow pace sounds perfect.
I know Colin (also at the meeting) wishes to join the ride too. I believe he has not registered yet, so just a heads up for him.

Thanks
Jez

I’ve updated the lists, you all have places.
Runs are now full, but I will see if we can get a third run leader. (Anyone?)
Please let me know if you cannot make it so someone else can allocated your place.

Thanks!
Steven

Unfortunately I'm at the RTTW on the 5th, the more ride leaders we have out there the more groups we can have. it's a great way to meet everyone.
Off the beaten track!.

I can lead in the afternoon from Newlands back to Rykas.

I'll be up at Newlands corner for 1pm for coffee and a chat and we can set off at a time to suit.

Add your name to this thread. I'll post on Facebook as well

I can lead a group on Saturday A.M. if needed.
Bear in mind I will be on my B.S.A. so it wont be fast!
I'll be at Newlands at 9:30 for coffee.
