Speed issue, Sandy Lane Rushmoor Surrey

Postby stevent » Wed Nov 16, 2016 7:45 pm

All

I have just been contacted by a local resident who would like to work with us about reducing excess speed on Sandy Lane Rushmoor, on the approach to the byway across Frensham Common - i.e. this stretch of road: http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=486810&Y=140376&A=Y&Z=120

This is subject to a 30mph limit and vehicles are apparently frequently exceeding this speed limit. The police and local council have been advised.

The local resident's approach is good natured and I am sure we can all empathise, none of us would want vehicles travelling in excess of the speed limit just beyond our garden gate. So please do your bit and keep your speed down on this stretch of road.

Thanks

Steven
