Tilford Bridge

Postby Simon Watson » Tue Mar 27, 2018 2:32 pm

This will be happening soon we understand. Local rumour mill is that this is going to be soon;

When will the works start?

As the work is over the River Wey the scheme delivery is best suited to the summer months when river levels are lower and the weather is generally drier. We do not currently have a confirmed start date but anticipate a summer 2018 start.

How long will the works take?

The scheme will be intricate requiring specialist and skilled contractors to repair the stone work as existing. We anticipate the duration will be between 4-6 months long however this is yet to be confirmed

Isn't that an official ford river crossing right beside the bridge?
