Peak district

Postby fallenmikethebike » Tue Sep 24, 2013 6:17 pm

:( More hay making from the anti's on the back of their recent successes.
Peakdistrict National Park
(Leys Lane Prohibition of Mechanically Propelled Vehicles) Traffic Regulation Order 2013

We are in danger of losing our rights to ride road legal motorcycles on this lane. The outcome may affect byways throughout the country if the traffic regulation order (TRO) is successful. We need as many people to object to the TRO as possible and time is short. please send your objections on the form provided to http://consult.peakdistrict.gov.uk/.

This TRO will have a knock on affect in the South Downs National park where we do most of our trail riding.

We all need to urgently object to the proposed TRO,You have until the 18th October to register your objection.

Hi,

It doesn't take long to fill in the on line objection. Just put a few reasons down as to why you object; when you read their reasons it is a joke.

Regards
Steve

All done too.

I hope everyone from Surrey TRF sends an objection, it is very easy and very important.

Here's the thing, they say [ Parks authority] that the numbers of letters written has an influence on the outcome.
We should be calling for that count to be based on the percentages of stakeholders groups who have been @rsed to comment that counts.
1200 Rambliars et al comments only counts for less than 0.1% of the 3million + total exponents of those stakeholder groups, whereas 1000 letters from TRAIL bike riders represents probably 10% of active advocates.
Sign up any way though, and if someone wants to put this in their letter feel free.
