Hi All,
Completely new to trial riding/Green laning.
Had my fair share of road bikes but this is my first 'proper' trial bike. (Yamaha WR 450)
Looking forward to hopefully meeting up with a few locals for a beer and share some knowledge and wisdom with me.
If anyone fancies a ride out some time with a complete beginner please get in touch as my trial riding virginity is still up for grabs!
Hi from Godalming

Godalming is a great place to be. A lot of runs start from Tilford area so you're nice and close. Plus a few great lanes on your doorstep

Congrats on the new bike. Things are a little quiet at the moment but keep checking for a ride. Recently more rides tend to start at Bocketts/Rykas/Newlands so you may have to be prepared to 'commute' to these start points
Re: Hi from Godalming
I hope the rear tyre in your photo isn't the one you are planning on using
Might need something with a few more knobs on it

Yeah I had a little look on OS maps for potential routes and seems to be quite good round my way.
If anyone fancies a ride out some time please give me a shout.
I can commute if need be as long as its not to far. The bike is fully road legal so don't mind a bit of traveling to get wherever.
@ShaunGASGAS300 noooo I have a set of knobblies and road tires

Hi,
I'm not far away in Guildford.
I've done most of the trails east of you, as far as Dorking. This link is quite handy...
There's a more definitive map on the SURREY county council web site - surrey interactive map. It's a bit clunky.
Bing maps have an OS option, which you may have already found.
Weekends can be a bit busy for me so I've actually yet to get out with anyone from the club. At the moment I'm getting out more on my way home from work, if I'm commuting on my trail bike.
IM me and maybe we can exchange mobile numbers.
Cheers
Nigel
