shoulder blade muscles

Postby NigelC » Mon Sep 04, 2017 11:28 am

Not sure if there is such a thing, but after Saturdays ride out I noticed the muscles in my back between my shoulders were nicely sore.

At times it felt like i was hanging on to the bars and maybe i was putting too much force through my arms, although they feel ok.

Just wondered if it was riding posture or just need to get stronger? :?:

Hanging onto the bars too much too hard, relax, let the bike do the work.

Getting stronger helps and will come with riding time. Figuring out how to let the bike do it's job without you putting too much rider input in is part of the fun. :)

Grip the bike with your legs when standing. This should naturally relax your grip.
