National Conference 7th Feb

This email is addressed to all TRF groups and in votes you to attend the National Conference to be held in the Peak district on the 7th February 2016. If all groups could send at least one representative so we can discuss our campaign idea's for 2016. The meeting is open to all members and the idea of it being held in the regions is to encourage local members to the meeting to attend. Look forward to seeing you there

Dear Members,

As per the October 2015 AGM the Directors invite all members to join them in a series of National Conferences to be held around the country. The first is to be held on the 7th of February in the Peak District National Park.

Trail Riders Fellowship – National Conference.

“The Way Forward 2016”

To be held at the Peakedge Hotel,
Darley Road, Stone Edge, Nr Chesterfield

7th February 2016 start at 10.00 for 10.30am finish at 3.30pm

All members are invited to attend a National Conference this time being held in the Northern region. The content will be National but time will be allocated for Northern/local issues and we encourage local members to attend. We would like a representative from each group around the country as there is information to be taken back as well as an opportunity for local members to meet the Directors.

The first hour with reports and consolidation of what’s been achieved to date, all new fresh stuff and largely around ROR successes, keeping lanes opening winning the battle against the Anti’s. Short reports about the state of the TRF from the directors, nothing heavy and no bullshit.

Then an hour of questions and answers "Meet the Directors" and additional time for local issues. Please send your questions and topics for discussion in advance to [email protected]

Then the rest of the time to Launch our plan for increased activity this year with more riding, more events, more activities, more public engagement, more political activism. Breaking up into workshops built around the three disciplines
ROR (inc Technical, heritage, conservation)JV,SN,DC Alternative thinking and solutions, No more litigation except when push as a last option
Marketing ( external)MSC mainly political, other user groups, other recreational motorist
Campaigning ( Internal marketing) MI, GM getting more of our members to group meetings, more ride outs across the country, more country fairs, local engagement.

We are looking for delegates to be going home enthused and with an arm full of idea’s as to what they should be doing this season in their own groups to promote the cause.

For those travelling far a special room rate has been negotiated £100.00 per night ( Normally £150+ contact the hotel direct), lunch is available to order (please orders on the day)
