Re: Forum Maintenance
Hi all,
The operation yielded unexpected results resulting in the maintenance going over time. Due to the necessary changes needing major version changes in the forum software it was not possible to complete this work on time.
As such the changes to the forum have been rolled back. I intend to try and complete the remaining work and apply the most important changes tomorrow. This will require more downtime. Please feedback in the Help section on the forum if this is going to be too disruptive and I will rearrange for another day.

Re: Forum Maintenance
Hi Dave
I'd be grateful if you could delay the maintenance for a day or so as I am trying to finalise a course and the forum is my best form of communication.
Thanks
Tony

Re: Forum Maintenance
Hi all,
The forum went down today for maintenance. The disruptive part of this maintenance is now over and the forum is now open again. This was an important update due to numerous vulnerabilities in the code and I have seen first hand what can happen.
Due to the aforementioned fact that the newer version of the server is a
complete rewrite in terms of coding from the developers the Digest mod and
Tapatalk mod are not functional. Expect these to be completed and tested
tomorrow (no disruption to forum access).
I hope this hasn't inconvenienced anyone but it's a big job and it really needs doing!

Dave,
Is it me or have we lost the "unread posts" functionality?
Cheers

Ignore me, I've found it. "Unread posts" are now in the "Quick links" drop down.

Tapatalk - tested and working
Digests - tested and working. An unfortunate caveat of the upgrade is that users will need to manually re-enable this feature as presently everyone is disabled. If you are having difficulty an admin can set this up for you.
