Aug 3rd Surrey/Hampshire run

Postby Ewormaharg » Mon Aug 04, 2014 11:44 am

Sunday's newbie/easy run around parts of Surrey and Hampshire hosted by Big Yellow Tractor was great! Couple of slow off's including one in reverse hopefully not to be repeated. :(

Fraction under 100miles covered from 09:30 - 17:00 taking in Pirbright, Tilford, Hindhead, The Devil's Punchbowl and the sand dunes of Frencham Common amongst other places. :) As I followed the leader I have no idea where else we went.

Thanks also go out to Dave, Sean and Derek for encouragement and assistance as and when needed.

Cheers

Hi Graham,

Thought you rode really well for your first time. Well done!

It was also quite a long run for a first, made longer by kicking the XR. You'll probably be aching a bit today - small price to pay for all that fun!

Colin led really well - the only spoiler being the use of the phrases like "when I was in...." Constantly :)

All in all, a fine days riding with even finer company. Welcome aboard!

Derek

Was it somewhere beginning with M? Milton Keynes? Morecombe.....or Marlborough perhaps? :)
