Re: 29/12 Christmas Run - best bits
My highlight was the little horse-shoe lane at East Clandon. No-one really bothers with this one, and they hadn't today, as ever after rain there was 2 to 3 foot deep water going on as far as you could see, and completely iced over... along I came as an ice breaker, chunks of shattering ice flying everywhere, the sound it makes is unreal.
Other best bits were not falling off after sliding on sheet ice x 2. Including after the ford after Sandy Lane.
And getting my OS MapFinder app to work on my iphone... if you want to try leading and have an iphone... you have to try this out, its dead simple and works a treat for leading runs. No more wrong turns. I'll post something up about that separately
Brilliant run with a great bunch of guys.

Random pictures from the run that Simon led today.
Mentally overcoming the cold this morning was the challenge, but really pleased we stuck with it. The sun was pretty blinding at times too, but I'd take the sun over snow any day!!!
