Conditions were tricky, ice under a little fresh snow and half way up the gulley the rear started to spin. I got up the steep part at the top by standing alongside the bike and kicking fresh snow and leaves from the bank under the back tyre and then pushing the bike forward a foot at a time with a tiny amount of clutch. Traction of tyres was slightly better than my Tech3s though, in order to stay standing I had to kick steps
Having got to the easier part at the top it got even more slippery and I couldn't even pull away on the near flat, gave up and went back down with engine off using the clutch as a back brake.. At one point a landrover pickup arrived and the two guys sat in it and watched me push my bike up the steepest section, I hope they were nice and warm in there, I certainly was.. They went past me and a bit further up they slid sideways into a ditch..
