Very many thanks to Steven T. for a great morning out (with Bev, Nigel and Neil) on Saturday - cold, a bit icy in places, but beautiful and clear. A good pace and a great route - a nice introduction for me to some of the lanes and looking forward to getting out again soon.
My first time out on the Surrey lanes with the TRF, having only done a few offroad school days before, and my first time out with this shiny, slightly intimidating 450cc thing that only arrived last week:
Steven helpfully identifies the location of Bev's puncture... Shame your ride was curtailed Bev, but glad you made it back OK thanks to Nigel's Tyreweld
Looking less new - delighted with the bike. I know there are potentially more sensible options I could have gone with for our local lanes, but since when did "sensible" and choice of motorcycle go together...
Things to do: soften the mapping to give me a fighting chance with power delivery and go to the gym more!
Thanks again Steven and hope to be out again soon...
Cheers
David
