Thought id share my schoolboy error

So not been out in months due to this, that and the other getting in the way, also being such a skinny git I cant cope with being cold well.

Decided last Sunny Sunday to go and check a couple of local lanes and test my Xmas gopro pressy out on a nice easily paced jaunt

First lane no issues, nice n slippy few puddles was loving it, second lane fallen tree , tracks round it another obstacle conquered... !

Then the schoolboy error....

Lessons Learnt
1. don't ride on your own its sad and dangerous
2. keep your phone handy at all times high up your body or in a waterproof bag.
3. keep your best mates beer fund topped up for recovery purposes
4. water is f******g cold when your stood in it for 30mins trying to stop your bike drifting downstream waiting for said mate. even colder after 2 hours in wet clothes.
5. lots of other key things like carry a rope, silt is like quicksand, boots take ages to dry out....etc

So anyway thought Id share this with you all to cheer up your week..
Mine didn't start too well but hey was a valuable lesson. no-one died as they say!
