Morning Gents
A group of old, ageing fat saddo's are looking for an easy run on Saturday 10th Feb, preferably starting from Rykas or Bocketts. I have been with the TRF for a while, and the other two are brand new members
We have all got a bit of experience, but the reason for the easy/beginner level is we are all a bit rusty and more than likely not bike fit. We are all confident that the bikes are tip top mechanically so the limiting factor will be us
We are only looking to be out until approx. 2pm as that is approximately the time smoke will start bellowing out of our derriere's

Re: Sat 10th Feb- Easy
I can do Sat. 10th Feb. I've got a couple of mates who are also a bit rusty and want me to take them out, so I'll combine the two and we'll have a group of six. I would prefer to start at Newlands Corner though, is that O.K. with you?

Hi Colin
Thanks very much for that. I'm okay for Newlands, just waiting for the other 2 to come back to me

Nice one Tony, thanks for sorting this out. I'll try and stay upright on the tarmac this time

Re: Sat 10th Feb- Easy
No problem!
I suggest meet at 9:30 for tea and chat and leave at 10:00 sharp. I'll try and plan a route taking into account weather conditions, going down London Lane and Beggars Lane can be treacherous at this time of the year.
Usual stuff about £2 run fee, whatever tools you may need, full tank of fuel etc.
I won"t leave you stranded in case of an accident or breakdown but can't be responsible for recovery etc!
Looking forward to it,
Colin

Re: Sat 10th Feb- Easy
Looks like it's going to be a bit damp on Saturday, hope you're still up for it?
We have a group of 5 at the moment, anyone else want to join us?
What bikes will you be riding?

Hi Col
I'm definitely up for it. I've dropped a line to the other two and will come back to you shortly
I will be on a Blue WR450, although I'm heading up to Newlands in the van

Hi Colin, Many thanks for a great ride this morning. Absolutely perfect and I even got to have a lay down in a puddle with my mate
All the best and I hope we catch again

Hi Guys, I thoroughly enjoyed leading you all this morning, the only trouble is , being at the front I missed all the "entertainment" especially the Synchronised Swimming!
And Pete, we've got to sort your bike out!
Thanks
Colin
