Beginner's ride - Sat 5th or Sun 6th Oct - Dorking area?

Hi all

Just bought myself a CRF250L and keen to get out on the trails. I know I've missed a beginner's ride recently, and that they'll probably be another soonish - but in the meantime, anyone fancy taking a newbie out this weekend?

A little - used to have a F650GS which I did a day on the (easy) lanes around Dorking with Azcari and a couple of times in the same area by myself.

Been out on the Honda once - just a quick ride along 'Admiral's Track' (I think that's what it's called - the lane from near Bockets Farm, past Polesden Lacy) and Chalkpit Lane (right off that track towards Effingham) and then up Beggars Lane (up to Ranmore from Gomshall). All what I would class as easy lanes - well I didn't find them too hard!

Do you want to join us on an Inbetweeners run down to Hindhead on Saturday,starts at Newlands at 10.00.Wont be hard or fast but it will be a full day,should be back to Newlands about 4.00.

Sounds good to me - I guess if I'm too slow/broken/tired/lazy I could always peel off and head home early.
