No acknowledgement here either which is pi55 poor. Is the recipient the correct person?

Hi guys
Well I think I've counted up about 40 objections on here and on the national forum and others I know who objected, and maybe more if people didn't say they've done it. So that is a great response considering the short notice. Lets hope that they see sense! Well done everyone.

Re: URGENT - 1 day to object - TRO - Ascot
I've just done a bit more digging on this. Not yet found anything about a Councillor living on the route. Yet. However I have established:
These routes are officially Byways Open to All Traffic - Sunninghill Byways - Numbers 23 and 24.
http://www.rbwm.gov.uk/public/100119_PR ... _875kb.pdf
That there was a planning application in 2010 which involved 1100 trucks to use the route!
http://www.rbwm.gov.uk/public/meetings_ ... 000989.pdf
And something about "surface damage to the lane" - "potholes caused by development repaired by developer." (page 22)
http://www.rbwm.gov.uk/public/140414_PR ... _555kb.pdf
So, if the developer created the pot-holes, then repaired them, would it not be reasonable to suggest that those repairs might not have been sufficient to make the surface good again?
Its always interesting what can be found when you spend a few minutes scratching about beneath the surface.

So have I, after chasing yesterday.
Has anyone who objected NOT received a reply?
I have also asked whether my questions on next steps will be answered, waiting for that.

Great job Steven......
From the ROWO....
"Thank you for your response to the consultation on the proposed Order. Having considered all the responses and objections and balancing the competing issues along the lane the Council consider that there is still a need to restrict heavier traffic, but has decided to modify the original proposals in light of the comments made to change the restriction to a width restriction of 1.6m instead of a total ban on motor vehicle traffic. A new Order will be made and advertised in due course."
