Did mine and, same day, I got this:

Dear Mr Scutt

Thank you for your email regarding the temporary closure of Grayshott BOAT 13.

The works to repair the route are scheduled into our work programme, to take place within the next 3-6 months. Once these works are completed, we intend to reopen the route. In the meantime, a substantial gate has been put in place to prevent illegal use by motorised vehicles, which has continued throughout the period of closure. In combination with the poor weather last winter, this has exacerbated the damage to the surface of the route.

Your comments have been noted and will be kept on file.

Kind regards

Ms Rohan Seeliger-Morley

Had this back today, in response to my 2nd email............

I have answered your email in my role as administration officer responsible for the process of making temporary closure orders only. I have therefore forwarded your response to our Area Countryside Access Team for a further response.

I would also note that although I have already notified the Secretary of State’s Office that objections have been received, a temporary closure order under Section 14 does not have any statutory right of objection, although all objections will be considered while the Secretary of State determines whether to grant our request for an extension.

In regard to the weather conditions mentioned in my earlier email, I apologise that I wasn’t clear – I referred to the winter of 2014-15, which, as I’m sure you remember, was exceptionally wet and led to damage on a wide scale across the county.
