Hyde Lane (Ockham)

Postby Weet-rider » Sun May 17, 2015 9:57 am

The landowner/farmer of land around Wisley airfield is pretty upset about rogue motorcyclists and quad riders continuing past the turnaround at the end of Hyde Lane (BY 544) which goes NW from Bridge End, Ockham and apparently damaging crops and distressing sheep recently. I explained that TRF riders knew the limits for legal riding but that I would pass the message on in case anyone was aware of who this may be.
I'm not sure he is ready to join the TRF just yet but at least he is a bit less anti-bike now after our chat ;)

Wisley airfield is currently subject to a planning application for 2100 houses, shops, lakes, a school etc, ie a whole new village. this may put a context on the future of this site. Lets hope the disturbance can be kept to a minimum, should it go ahead.
