An MP actually quoting a TRF member in Parliament

Postby stevent » Tue Jan 19, 2016 10:41 pm

Couldn't quite believe that. But it happened - the video evidence is there. http://www.trf.org.uk/contact-my-mp/

So writing to MPs works.

Greg Villalobos, the guy who did our TRF website and pioneered the crowdfunding for Hexham Lane a while ago, has launched a campaign to get us all to write to our MPs. So please join in, it only takes 10 minutes, and it really does work.

GL£AM are beavering away all the time trying to close routes we use so we must respond, every one of us.

When you write please post up your MP - so we can see that we get full coverage for our area.

My MP is Siobhain McDonagh - MP for Mitcham and Morden.

Kev, thanks

I've now had a reply and my MP has written to the Government Minister seeking a response to the TRF's proposals, copying me in.

So if you haven't already, please take a moment and write to your MP.

(I was hoping that we'd get more than two of us doing this)

Should take no more than 10 minutes

Thanks

Steven

I wrote to my MP, The Rt Hon Ann Milton conservative for Guildford and she has replied.

A pleasant letter and she seems to agree with our aim to conserve the rights of way.

I'll try and upload a copy is anyone is interested?
