Snailing Lane, Hawkley BOAT 25, is temporarily closed

Postby stevent » Sun Jul 10, 2016 11:41 am

Snailing Lane / Hawkley Byway Open to All Traffic 25, is now subject to a temporary closure. The route had an incredible bomb hole in it. My understanding is that HCC will only be closing routes now, when they have a plan to fix them.

Just received this from Dave Carling at Lodden Vale TRF:

Hants CC have reported to me that groups of motorcycles are still using Hawkley 25 / Snailing Lane and ignoring the TRO. One of the gates has been removed and now needs to be re-fitted. If you are near this road and see anybody using it, please report them to the police. This activity is not good for TRF when we are trying to work with HCC and build relations.

Can you post this message on your local TRF forums?

Hopefully this isn't any of us!
