Thanks Mario. Yes I saw this and was very pleased with myself.
For those who were not around: I think it might have something to do with the fact that we saw off a local Parish councilor, who wanted to close the byway at the end of her garden, and to create a Beatrix Potter conservation area all around her house and beyond, with no law abiding trail riders welcome, to disrupt this utopian dream. The papers in the archives showed she'd be at, trying to close the routes, since 1983.
So the fact we managed to keep this route open, and uphold the rule of law, specifically Section 130 Highways Act 1984, rankles with the fascists, who want to shut us down, and who smear us.
So pay up your TRF membership fees, so we can fight the unlawful closures, and treat everyone you meet on the byway with respect and courtesy, so we can draw on local people's support when we need it.
