Hi - thought I'd introduce myself. Name's Oli - list in Sutton/Carshalton.

I'm loving the idea of a bit of easy trialling - don't mind getting wet and muddy. Don't really have a suitable bike - just bought a '90 MZ ETZ251. Am I allowed to join in? I'm thinking of doing the MMC Landsend trial at Easter if I can clear it with the boss. At least it's a 2-stroke and aint gonna break when I drop it.

Would be happy to swap 75% of an XJ600 and 85% of a CBR600 for something a bit more mud related at some point - I have to accept I'm never going to get around to fixing them up!

So - can I come play?

Welcome to the group...

Dont worry about dark rider references, its an "in joke" he has unusual trail bikes as well..

Theres a number of us that live locally to you.

Its so wet and muddy at the moment, as Stewie says you will need to stick some trail tyres on it.. You will be able to do the lanes, but it will be harder work... Engine and exhaust may be a problem with rocks et.. but its do'able.. So get it working and with trail tyres and come out to play.

Just need the tyres now.

Wondering if I can bodge the xj side stand on. Doubt it as much taller bike but will see. Need to sort the idle out so card clean this week.
