Other forums list the specific part you showed (24700-KSE-305) , but they say it doesn't fit a 2104 CRFL (which is what mine is).

LOL, How hard can it be to find this out without actually buying this stuff and wasting money.

I understand your predicament, mine is a 2014 and the part I linked to fits. Not sure about the 2012.

Cheers CraigRK, I found some bits on the tinterwebs about the CRF250 Rally earlier. Wonder how much those will sell for? Looks pretty smart especially if they solve all the downers of the standard CRF250L
