Hi all.
Based in West London. Joined last year but with a 990 Adventure which felt like a challenge for green lanes.
Now have a 701 Enduro which is much better (much better than its rider...)
Am looking to get out with folks. Experience so far is a few days here and there. Riding through is fine; jumping across gaps is still in the future!
Cheers
David

David,
Guess you're looking for one bike that can do it all. Have been tempted by a 701 myself, maybe with both enduro and super moto wheel sets.
Hope to see you at a club night

Hello and welcome, quite a few of the guys I ride with are on 690/701s, apart from the rocker arm issues, there a great bike, the closest thing to a 'do it all bike' you can get, last trip 3 out 4 were on 690s, 2000 miles of trails around Europe without missing a beat, I'm still loving the 990 and 525 combo, see ya on the trails.
Off the beaten track!.

If I got one it would definitely be the 2017 model with the Twin balancers and new head design. Road tested the ktm Duke version - awesome. Just a bit pricey I guess
