NEW MEMBER FROM WIMBLEDON

Hi to all and thanks for making me feel welcome at the club night this week and to Gary Sharpe for connecting on the facebook page and inviting me onto a ride a couple of weeks back. I'm keen to ride every couple of week for 1/2 day and also to load up the trailer and go 2-3hrs south or west for day rides with other TRF clubs - please add me to any whatsapp groups that may exist 07775552449. I have a lightweight dual sport bike the WR250R with 50/50 tires (TKC80 Continental) on supermoto 17" rims - not ideal but they seem to handle most things reasonably well and will have to do until i can get a 21" for the front.

Hi Glen, great that you could make club night, good to see you there. Hope you made a few connections. I noticed that Stewie has posted a run on Sunday on TRF Facebook page, he is fantastic to ride with. What he doesn’t know probably isn’t worth knowing and as a plus takes awesome pictures. As for the WhatsApp groups this is a contentious issue as many in the club think they are sucking the life out of the forum, I believe things will pick up on there anyway.

seems the only UK option is build some through excel or smpro ...and that is pricey - 360 quid seems to be the price for front 21 with rotor. Alternatively i'm planning on picking up some warp9 next time in the US for work. Good to meet you Barry hope to see you on a ride soon!.. or just waiting for the hens teeth to surface on ebay

Look on eBay for second hand ones? Also worth phoning Elderfields in Farnham. It's worth the ride down there, if only to drool over his collection of fully restored Red Rockets...
