a great day out, helped of course by the magnificent weather.

The course was a little short compared to Bagshot where it's been held in the past, but nevertheless I thought it was an excellent venue overall.

Well done to Kev and everyone else for helping organise and promote the event, I really like the 3-stage format and hope it will continue.

Brilliant day, thanks to all of you who were involved in organising and marshalling. I really enjoyed the format and although I fell off about ten times and feel exhausted, I have a big smile on my face!

If anyone hears about the RRND LDT let me know as that is the next day I have booked with the boss!

Cheers,
Jonathan

RRND was originally scheduled for 1st May, but has now been switched to 10th July.

The Swindonian (which is well worth travelling to) is on the 19th June http://www.sdmcc.org.uk/event.html#June

Just to add my thanks to all who organised or helped on the day, to make this event the success it was. a truly superb day, enjoyed by all who took part. I used a twin shock trials bike, which meant standing all day, the the knees took a bit of a beating, and I had been slightly misled over the difficulty of the trials sections, but got through with some cricket scores being registered. at least I never fell off. well only once. so, the names I will mention, ( there are undoubtedly others, but this is who I saw and know the names) are Kevin G, Chris Avery, John Barber, Steve Sharp, and probably many others who helped before, but were also riding, so hard to tell who they were. To all of you, Thanks chaps,

( I may have been the oldest rider, on the smallest bike, and possibly finished last, for those who collect statistics)

Just like to also add my thanks to everyone who gave up their time to put this event on, it was a great format and good to meet a few of you.

I just found out the RRND has been pushed back to the 10th July, therefore the next LDT is the Taunton Jubilee on 15th May, followed by The Swindonian on 19th June.

Highly likely I'll be venturing to Taunton with Kev for Taunton. Certainly will be looking to enter the RRND LDT as well.

A good point raised...pictures...any folks who took pictures of yesterday's event can you post them or a link to them please? I'd especially like pictures of me swearing at my time as I tried to pick it up half way up a hill. :)

Wow what a great fun event that looked, I manged to get around to most of the stages and take some picture, I must admit I did have quite a lot of fun on the KLR650, great to see so many Surrey TRF taking part and helping out. :D
Here's the pic's that I took, unfortunately due to the variation in the light through the trees ( well that's my excuse anyway  ) , the pic's are not the best I've done, managed to get them down to 411 from 3800 pictures taken, and a few slightly out of focus I've left in as people always like pictures of them selves ;)

Have to say lads that was a great day out really enjoyed it many thanks to all involved in setting this up you done a great job, a bit sore today which is always a sign that you had a good days ridding. Great to see so many of the TRF taking part and helping out for those of who were unfortunate enough to miss it well you missed a great day. Once again many thanks from the Irish particapents.
