Rally - All Terrain Rally Challenge 2014

Just entered this one, Sunday 28th September........

Anyone else up for it?

RallyMoto is running the Tarenig Rally in the legendary Tarenig Forest as a replacement event for the Hafren Rally which has been cancelled for 2014.

The Tarenig Rally will use a good mix of trails, taking in the best going from the Welsh 2 Day, the previous Tarenig Rally and some new previously unused tracks just to add a bit of spice.

The going will be more technical than our previous events held in this area and we grade this event as a 4/5.

The lap is 30 miles and competitors will be expected to do 4 laps with 3 timed sections, we will have a sighting lap. The course runs in some extraordinary scenery and is great riding.

Just back from the Beacon rally, was bloody tough, lots of single track, mud, ruts, shale uphills, forest tracks just relentless but really great fun. I think this one will be one to enter, lots of terrain hardly ridden on so some pretty rare riding to be had.

Nice to know you have the exclusive use of the area, no horses, ramblers, cyclists just crack on and ride.

50/50 at the moment, working on the green card.....

I'll be travelling up in the van on Saturday and camping onsite. Travelling back on Sunday after the rally.

I'll even try and get to sleep on my own camp bed (if Kirk does not nick it again)!
