no, don't listen to others and do follow your ambitions - i think you will have fun - you gotta do it, especially with a camera on your helmet.

hear hear ... like I said in the IOM .. if its on the bucket list then ....

set a target .. do it for your 40th ... get fitter, get a different bike and upskill by doing more training and hard stuff (local H&H and enduros) ...

on the day of the race .... wait 30/45 mins on the start line to let all the carnage clear at the first obstacle ...then have a tickle round ...

i dont wanna do it.... beachs are for summer holidays in my book ...prefer throwing myself at hills instead

Oh yeah! by all means!

Light and fast.
Trusty old blue.
You'll have a blast!
I have a sand tyre you can have too.

The bearings are shagged
And the spooge is epic
it loves being ragged
but with your skill you should ask Derek

Don`t do it, unless you intend to sell your bike the following week....................It will completely f##k your bike, the sand gets everywhere, chain, sprockets, pads, disks, bearings and it will get into your engine somehow. All these muppets that are egging you on, how many of them have done it. You will do half a lap and be pi##ed off for a month and paying for it for six months. If you really have to do it give me a call and I will give you some damage limitation tips.
