I have a one previous owner Gas Gas Pampera for sale with 12 months MOT.
This bike was owned up until very recently by an 82 year old local guy who bought it from new. He stopped riding 3 years ago and I managed to buy it.
This is the 3rd Pampera that I have owned and I can thoroughly recommend them for the following reason.
They are really light (around 90kg)
They have a low seat height as standard
They have a short wheel base, so they are excellent for tight maneouvering (they are really a hybrid between a trail bike and a trials bike).
They have a fairly docile 2 stroke engine (so you shouldn't get yourself into trouble) however plenty of power when you need it.
They have a 6 speed gearbox - so can crusie well on road sections.
They are bullet proof in design and there are a couple of local specialists who know these bikes well, should you want to fettle it further.
The exhaust note on them is reasonably quiet, so you won't upset too many other byeway users.
I was doing the Wyegate event on my other Pampera last weekend and if you click this video link - you will see just how capable these bikes are (the event is a Pampera fest!).
These bikes are starting to firm in value with a few changing hands for over £2k.

Re: Gas Gas Pampera £1500
Right then I am now back from Vietnam and need to create some space, so if you are looking for a sensible trail bike which is also excellent as an LDT / 3 stage trail bike do give me a shout before I stick it on Ebay.

Re: Gas Gas Pampera £1500
Went to meet Gavin to have a look at the Pampera.
Gavin clearly understands his bikes and is passionate about them. Great person to meet.
@Gavin, thanks for taking the time.
I could immediately see the appeal the Pampera has: really light, nimble and despite first worries about the kickstart, it started on the first kick (and very easy I would like to add).
If I had more time (or grown up kids already) to add lane riding to my hobbies, I would have taken it on the spot. Unfortunately, I had to come to my senses and admit I need to delay this step for a little bit longer.
Anyone looking for a beginner's bike: that's the one. But get there fast, because I think Gavin will have it sold in no time.
