Free EXC Spares - now gone!

I have just changed my bike and have some unused spares which someone is welcome to have if they can make use of them.

- Venhill Throttle cable to fit; EXC 125/200 (98 - 06), EXC 250 (97 - 06), EXC 300 (97 -00)

- Unused (but oiled ready for fitting) Twin Air 3 pin Filter (154112) to fit KTM 4 Strokes (01 - 06) or 2 Strokes (04-06)

Shout if they are of any use to you, and I will bring them to the next club night.

I swapped in my reasonably presentable but still rather geriatic 9 year old EXC200 for a nice shiny EXC350-F.

I have had to wait for a long time for it, but I finally picked the new ride up last Saturday and am still enjoying the novelty of things like an electric start! Have now fitted a sump guard, clutch saver, etc, and am just putting the first couple of hours on it on the road. I will change the oil at around 3 hours, and then out on the lanes for the first time on 16th on Steve's ride.

Having bought a few new KTM I have some advice; remove swing arm and generously coat bearings in water proof grease. As with the steering head bearings. They come almost dry and do not last too long if left.

Thanks, I will have a look at the head and swing arm bearings soon - that's not the first time I have heard about the great Austrian grease shortage!
