Has anyone had any experience with 2002 or 2003 Husa FE400's? I've seen a couple advertised at via a dealer at £2,100.
I'm reading varying reports on their reliability...or lack of it. The 2002 doesn't appear too good. Also, is it suitable for a relative newbie? I'm currently riding an XR400.
Cheers
Graham

Re: Husaberg FE400
My indirect experience is that they are not as reliable as the Japanese machines.
If you intend on plodding along 400's are OK. But, and although they are much, much better these days, the weight can be a pain when you want to have 'fun'.

An alternative may have been found......a 36mm Mikuni Pumper carb from XR's only. This and learning to fall off less should reduce the number of times I need to kick the b'stard over to get it started.
