Re: Wet roads
I rode Violets Lane in Herts recently which is an unsurfaced road that floods after heavy rain. It's mostly pebble mud and sand and is about half a mile long. When flowing it can get too deep for bikes but unfortunately it was not flowing when we rode it, that said there were long puddles of deep water caused by 4x4 damage that were tricky enough to get a soggy boot! Well worth a trip to the area as we rode roughly 125 miles with lots fantastic lanes and no walkers!
