£2 is a sensible and still cost effective fee and doubles the fighting fund - Sharpie just put £250 in the fund - that could have been £500 for no extra effort - how many lanes would that help keep open? :D And as Luke says, most would pay much more for a decent guide

I think the free newbie first run should stand - it only takes one go to see how much fun it is and get you hooked to sign up to membership.
